In this week's player profile get to know none other than Bashir Ahmed. The 6'7 F spoke highly about his experience at St.John's and how special it is for him to play in New York City. For those who might not know, Ahmed is a Bronx native who attended Hutchinson C.C. last season. When Ahmed had the opportunity to play in his hometown for a prominent program like the Red Storm he took full advantage. This season Ahmed has transitioned well into being an intricate piece to Red Storm. Ahmed looks forward to contributing to the historic program at St. John's.
